Our Programs

Program 1:

Ensemble Youth Theatre Company (South Los Angeles)

The Ensemble Youth Theatre Company (EYTC) is based in South Los Angeles and focuses on developing young people through theatre, storytelling, and performance. The program uses dramatic arts as a tool to build confidence, discipline, communication skills, and leadership while providing youth with meaningful creative outlets.

Programming includes stage productions, performance training, workshops, and community showcases designed to strengthen creative expression and personal development. The program emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and artistic excellence while encouraging each child to find their voice.

Program 2:

The Black Culture and Power Project

Description: The Black Culture and Power Project is a cultural preservation and public education initiative centered on honoring Black history, achievement, and influence through visible, community-anchored programming.

Core initiatives include: Public Art Installations: Sculptures and murals honoring notable Black figures, placed in prominent locations and accompanied by life and historical information for public engagement and education Workshops and Lectures: Events featuring historians, educators, and artists discussing Black history, culture, and power

Cultural Festivals: Music, dance, food, and art events providing a platform for local artists and performers and fostering community connection

Next Steps Callout: The first exhibit will honor John Singleton with a mixed-media installation in South Central Los Angeles.

Program 3:

Owning Black

Purpose Statement: The purpose of Owning Black is to identify and raise capital for real estate projects in the Black Community through crowdfunding, promoting economic development and networking opportunities.

This program focuses on collective economics, ownership, and long-term wealth building within Black communities.

Program 4:

Sengbe Legacy Sports Camps

At Sengbe Legacy Sports Camps, our mission is to introduce children to the joy of movement, build foundational athletic skills, and foster confidence from an early age. Our programs are thoughtfully designed for children ages 2 and up, creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
